Yummy authentic dumpling. It is better to order by phone as the dumpling is made fresh and you have to wait for 15 mins for cooking. There is no place to eat inside the little store. Buy frozen dumplings and cook at home is much better deal if you donot mind cooking.

The lamb and cilantro dumplings were some of the best dumplings we’ve ever had. We liked both the steamed and pan fried. The stuffing was juicy and delicious with a little spice and a little cilantro with neither overwhelming. The dining area is tiny. If you do eat in the ladies were so nice. They made room around their stations and accomodated even though we probably shouldve taken everything to go. Nothing was pre prepared so we waited a few minutes but it was fully worth it. If we go on a dumpling crawl and have less than a few hours to devote and could only go to one…handmade dumpling would be the one.

Pork Chives and Shrimp (15 pieces) $16 My bestie makes the trip to Flushing once a month to see me, and usually I pick where we eat—but this time, she sent me a reel from @mubereats and wanted to check this spot out. So off we went. When we walked in, it’s definitely a small, takeout-focused place (there’s literally a sign that says takeout only). We did spot a tiny table with two stools and asked if we could sit—luckily, she gave us a friendly nod. The menu is actually pretty extensive, with different fillings depending on whether you go boiled or fried. If there’s pork & chives, that’s always my go-to—but we spotted pork, chives and shrimp and decided to be a little bougie. It was only $1 more, so obviously we had to. I usually prefer fried dumplings over boiled—I hate when boiled ones dry out and stick together - personal preference that’s all She served them on a plate instead of a takeout container, which was such a nice touch. They looked so good, she even snapped a photo of them herself. And wow—these dumplings were so good. Super juicy, packed with flavor, and honestly borderline soup dumplings with how much juice was inside. They definitely don’t skimp on the filling

Really tasty and light tasting dumplings. For the pork and chives boiled and pork and Shepard purse fried. Enjoy immensely!

Handmade Dumplings is such a gem! I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest ladies when I walked in, which immediately made the experience feel special. I ordered the boiled pork & chive and pork & Napa cabbage dumplings, both were absolutely delicious! They came out perfectly warm, juicy, and intact, not too hot, not greasy at all, just pure comfort in every bite. You can really taste the freshness and care put into each dumpling. Cash is the best way to pay here, and it’s definitely worth it. You can pay by Zelle too. I’ll absolutely be coming back again!
